What’s the most underrated photography destination in the Americas? Easy: Brazil.
Brazil is home to some of the most incredible landscapes, extraordinary cities, and some of the best wildlife in the world.
Over the years, I’ve led photography tours to Brazil every other year. And honestly, I wish it was more often. Brazil is one of the countries I could easily photograph non-stop without ever getting bored. You have the wildlife of the Pantanal. You have photogenic Rio de Janeiro. Iguazu Falls is epic. And that doesn’t even count lesser known places like Jericoacoara and Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses. Of course, there’s also the Amazon.
Brazil is epic.
Below are the photography tours I have planned to Brazil over the next couple years.

Pantanal + Iguazu Falls 2028
Iguazu Falls ruined waterfalls for me. It’s that cool. It’s just mind-blowingly incredible and there simply isn’t one more impressive in the world that I’ve seen. What many don’t realize, is that this area is also a prime wildlife region packed with Coati, Tegu Lizards, Monkeys, and some of the best birdlife on the planet.
The Pantanal is one of the top 3 best wildlife photography experiences on the planet. On our 2026 trip, we spotted 14 different individual Jaguars in just 3 days. Of course, there were also Toucans, Macaws, Capybara, Tapirs, Caiman, and so much more.
My 2028 photography tour to Brazil covers both of those destination in what is an action-packed adventure to the most exciting place in South America.
